TOMS were inspired by a traditional Aregntine shoe and everytime you buy a pair, you donate a pair of shoes to someone who really needs them. Like me. Jk. Sort of. Its a unique concept, at least they're comfortable.

Today I went to Taste and has a nice Easter brunch, then I went to Marc Jacobs and got two t-shirts. I adore that store. Its pure passion.

Fashionista much?

Fashion is Carla Knapp's calling. A design degree from Parsons and design stints at Jil Stuart and Paper Denim & Cloth (of which she was creative director) followed, before Knapp debuted her own label last season at Gen Art's Fresh Faces of Fashion. Mischen, which fittingly means 'to mix' in German, juxtaposes vintage pattern-work with avant-garde, architectural silhouettes; embroidery and colors culled from 18th century Native Americans with brushstroke prints from the glam 1930s' a la Gres, Chanel, and Adrian.
